Las relaciones sociales de género en el sector cooperativo: reflexiones para su cambio desde la provincia Granma

Abstract

El sector cooperativo agropecuario en Cuba no ha logrado aprovechar todas sus potencialidades y oportunidades para propiciar relaciones sociales de género más equitativas y con ello dar paso al empoderamiento de las mujeres, no solo con la finalidad de hacer medible el principio de igualdad y justicia social que plante nuestro sistema social y el propio sistema de gestión entre sus valores, sino como una de las mejores alternativas para aprovechar al máximo todas las capacidades creadas y los recursos disponibles en función de la producción de alimentos y el desarrollo económico y social de la sociedad, tanto de los contextos rurales donde estas tienen lugar, como en el ámbito nacional. Muchas son las experiencias que se han realizado en este sentido y la intención de este trabajo es precisamente mostrar algunos de estos resultados.
