La Protección A Los Desempleados En España 1995 – 2011

Abstract

La duración e intensidad de la crisis económica iniciada con la implosión del mercado hipotecario en 2007, ha conducido a tasas de desempleo históricamente altas y niveles de protección social propios de 1995, debido a la caída tanto de la tasa de cobertura (proporción de desempleados con acceso a alguna prestación) como del importe de las prestaciones. Las perspectivas sobre la economía española indican que en 2012 continuará el deterioro de las prestaciones a los desempleados, lo que podría provocar el aumento de situaciones extremas como desahucios y pobreza severa. La tasa de cobertura de los desempleados podría situarse en el 47% frente al 53% actual, y el valor esperado de la renta a percibir por aquellos descenderá en 99 euros mensuales.
