Vaccination Acceptance among School-Aged Youth: Associations with Age, Gender, and Place of Residence

Abstract

Vaccination remains a key public health measure; however, vaccine hesitancy continues to challenge vaccination programmes worldwide. This study examined vaccination acceptance among school-aged youth and its association with age, gender, and place of residence. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted using an anonymous online questionnaire completed by 190 respondents. Vaccination acceptance was assessed across five dimensions: awareness, attitudes, trust in institutions, environmental influence, and personal experience.
