Grandes corporaciones y propensiones al fascismo

Author

Abstract

This text presents two essays by Michał Kalecki written during the sixties: “The fascism of our times” (1964) and “Vietnam and US big business” (1967), which analyze the political and economic context of that time. The first essay reflects on the ways in which fascism was making a comeback in the political landscape of some countries, such as France, West Germany and the United States, and how groups related to this ideology were infiltrating, without any resistance, into the ruling elites of such governments. The second essay analyzes the interests of the large US corporations in continuing the Vietnam War, despite the negative outlook that was already being presented for the United States in this war.
