Abstract

Esta reseña sobre el libro de Guillermo Calvo, "Macroeconomics in Times of Liquidity Crises: Searching for Economic Essentials", resume los argumentos que da el autor para afirmar que los temas de liquidez son fundamentales para explicar el carácter sistémico de la actual crisis financiera. Según esta reseña, el libro contribuye al debate sobre la macroeconomía como disciplina, a la vez propone que las aportaciones analíticas de Fisher, Keynes y Minsky permiten establecer eslabones dentro del pensamiento económico. El texto está dirigido tanto al público especializado, como a los estudiantes e interesados en la crisis financiera.
