Abstract

Al aproximarse el triple fin, de la década, del siglo y del milenio, no han sido pocos los que han caído en la tentación profética. En contra de lo que podría suponerse tratandose de un economista, Lester C. Thurow no ha sucumbido al pitonismo, sino que con su décimo libro nos ofrece un esclarecedor y original análisis de los fenómenos(no sólo económicos) que afectan a la economía actual, sugiere una plausible explicación y dibuja un panorama posible de persistir las tendencias constatadas. Una de las virtudes principales de la obra es al sencillez del modelo explicativo propuesto...
