Abstract

Comer y hablar, y estar libre de hambre y de represión, son los valores elementales que animan una búsqueda mundial de democracia política y racionalidad económica. Hoy presenciamos el colapso de modelos de desarrollo económico exitosos durante décadas como lo testimonian las crisis económicas en la Argentina, el Brasil, México, Hungría, Polonia y la Yugoslavia, sin precedente en la historia de estos países. En reacción, se han puesto en marcha transiciones desde distintas variedades de autoristarismo hacia la democrracia y desde economías administradas estatalmente, monopolizadas y protegidas, hacia una plena confianza en los mercados...
