Abstract

Introducción. A menudo, el capital parece fluir de los países pobres a los ricos, en aparente, contradicción con el modelo neoclásico de crecimiento con dos factores. Dado que los países pobres tienen una menor razón capital-mano de obra, y por tanto un mayor producto marginal de capital, la teoría suguiere que deberían experimentar entradas de capital. El fenómeno de los movimientos de capital fuera de los países pobres se les llama comúnmente fuga de capitales. La mayoría de las explicaciones de este patrón paradójico de los movimientos de capital intentan demsotrar que la tasa importante de rendimiento de capital en un país pobre no es tan alta como podría parecer en un principio...
