Abstract

Introducción. De los diversos aspectos de la problemática acerca de la distribución del ingreso los referentes a las políticas financieras son particularmente complejos. Su análisis se complica, además, porque el concepto "políticas financieras" se utliza de manera indistinta con diversas connotaciones, porque hay pocos antecedentes analíticos y porque la información estadística útil es escasa. El propósito de este trabajo es analizar los efectos de las políticas financieras, como se definen más adelante, en la distribución del ingreso en México, en particular durante la etapa de la posguerra. Por tanto, la reseña de la evolución de algunos aspectos de dichas políticas y del sistema financiero se realiza sólo en la medida en que sea importante para precisar su efecto en la distribución del ingreso...
