Abstract

I. Introducción. En años recientes ha habido gran presión en los países menos desarrollados(PMD) para que adopten paquetes específicos de políticas de desarrollo industrial. Mientras que en algunos casos se ha generado interés por el cambio dentro de los propios gobiernos de los PMD, la presión más prominente ha surgido en su mayor parte en el exterior por medio de los gobiernos de los países industrializados y de los organismos internacionales. En la mayoría de los casos el meollo de estos paquetes ha descansado en alguna noción de liberalización económica en la forma de un enfoque más orientado hacia le mercado y una reducción de la participación directa del gobierno...
