La opción del APRA en el Perú

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza las políticas heterodoxas adoptadas por el gobierno de Alan García desde julio de 1985. Después de una sección inicial, en la cual se estudian las bases conceptuales y las principales medidas adoptadas, la sección II del trabajo presenta los principales resultados del plan macroeconómico. Las secciones III y IV analizan de manera preliminar la fragilidad del modelo y lo contrastan con las políticas similares aplicadas en la Argentina y el Brasil. La discusión a lo largo del trabajo no se limita solamente al tratamiento de la inflación, puesto que la lógica de las políticas del gobierno requiere un enfoque más amplio. La reactivación forma parte de la estrategia antinflacionaria y la reducción en el pago de la deuda se considera como necesaria para abrirle campo a la reactivación...
