Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es el análisis comparativo de los procesos de creación, la conducta y los resultados de las nuevas empresas en un conjunto de países, que se diferencian tanto por su nivel de desarrollo como por el ámbito cultural en que se sitúan. Se trata, por tanto, de averiguar en qué medida ambos factores influyen en la naturaleza del talento empresarial revelado en la promoción de nuevas empresas y, en definitiva, en los efectos que el nacimiento de empresas puede tener en la creación de empleo, aspecto este que ha concitado el interés general por el fenómeno del nacimiento de empresas. El foco de atención es, pues, el análisis del papel desempeñado por el ambiente social, cultural y económico en el nacimiento, la conducta y los resultados de las nuevas empresas.
