Relación simbiótica entre calidad del empleo y competitividad: evidencias del País Vasco

Abstract

Este artículo analiza cómo la calidad del empleo contribuye a la construcción de territorios competitivos y al bienestar, especialmente, en contextos donde la innovación y la gestión del talento son clave para el éxito empresarial. A partir de una revisión de la literatura, se identifican variables extrínsecas (salario, prestaciones, entorno seguro, situación laboral) e intrínsecas (desarrollo profesional, liderazgo, diálogo social, formación, conciliación, factores psicosociales) que influyen en dicha calidad. La evidencia muestra que empresas con condiciones laborales dignas atraen y retienen talento, fomentan la innovación y logran crecimiento económico. Promover empleos de calidad no solo mejora el bienestar laboral, sino que impulsa la resiliencia y el dinamismo económico. Se concluye que las políticas públicas y estrategias empresariales deben orientarse hacia entornos laborales de calidad.
