Abstract

The MiFID tackles structural changes in securities markets¿ architecture as well as in parts of the financial system. Two especially relevant points must be analyzed specifically, like the break of the concentration rule in equities markets and a new approach on client protection when providing investment services. This article aims at analyzing the main goals of MiFID and how they have been transposed in Spanish legislation
