Una propuesta conceptual sobre nuevos indicadores para la ciudad del conocimiento

Abstract

The present article pretends to adduce a theoretical frame of the new work in the study and development of the cities as practical communities, and a guide in order to make up Social Capital indicators for the «city of knowledge». A part of the conception of the city as a complex system where it is not possible to supervise directly on it, as an abstract entity, but through its citizens, in such a way the economic politic must be directed to promote the self-organisation of the people, who are the ones who really guarantee the maintenance of the enterprising actions and the making up of knowledge, giving birth to the so-called « communities of practice».
