Abstract

This short article examines the influence of the process of political and fiscal devolution in Spain on the accumulation of public sector capital by the Autonomous Communities and on its yield in terms of economic growth. The data used are for 1980-1994, involving different econometric models in each case. The results indicate that the effect is not statistically significant in either case.
