Abstract

There has been a regression in the principle of employment stability in Spain, both in the job market and in juridical construction. The result has been an outpouring of temporal contracts. This article analyzes the evolution and characteristics, the input and the output of temporal contracts based on data from the Active Population Survey from 1987 to 1994. There are three distinct categorias in input and there are significant output flows towards unemployment and stable employment, which indicates the existence of different types of corporate practices reference to temporal contracts.
