Abstract

This article attempts to give interpretative criteria to the Basque Government''''s economic behaviour within the context of the new approaches to public intervention profiled during the management of the crisis. Having analyzed the measures adopted by the Basque Government the authors find that the economic behaviour of the Basque Government was perfectly adapted to the new conception of regional policy during the eighties, derived from the new model of general economic policy.
