La evaluación económica en España: el camino recorrido

Abstract

The aim of this articte is to analvze the development of the economic evaluation studies applied to the health sector in Spain. After having set the evaluation of health projects within the evaluation of health technology in general, the economic evaluation tools normally used in the health sector are examined and the thirty studies carried out during the last ten years are classified. Finally some of the development tendencies of these techniques and the specific way in which they are used are highlighted.
