Abstract

This work reviews the panorama of macroeconomical debates in Spain, from the perspective of its political implications, rather than from a purely formal point of view. The debate is organizad around four main themes: the foreign sector, monetary policy, the labour market and public accounting. The article identifies the insufficiency of physical and human capital, the important role and erroneous bearing of the monetary policy and unemployment as first priority problems in Spanish economy.
