O proletariado como produtor e como produto

Abstract

O autor critica as teses segundo as quais a força de trabalho é produzida fora doprocesso de produção capitalista. No modelo que ele propõe, os salários-família cobremtanto a produção de bens e serviços quanto a produção de força de trabalho. O proletariadoconsiderado como insumo produz mais-valia e considerado como produto incorpora amais-valia. O autor analisa a relação entre a força de trabalho como produto e como insumo.Ele também pretende mostrar que o papel do mercado no capitalismo é menor, e o papeldo Estado é o central. Ao mudar de produto para insumo, a força de trabalho é desvalorizadapelo processo da mais-valia relativa. Por fim, analisa algumas implicações desse modelono que diz respeito às lutas sociais.
