Abstract

Eðitim, beþeri sermayenin niteliðini ve verimliliðini geliþtirmesi ve bireylerin gelecekte elde edecekleri geliri artýrmasýnýn yanýnda, ayný zamanda gelir eþitsizlikleri sorununun kalýcý bir biçimde çözümlenmesinde kullanýlan en etkin politika araçlarýndan biridir. Çalýþmamýzda kantil regresyon tekniði kullanarak 2012 yýlýnda Denizli ilinde anne ve babanýn eðitim düzeyinin hanehalký geliri üzerindeki etkisi analiz edilmektedir. Analiz sonuçlarýna göre annenin eðitim düzeyinin gelir üzerindeki etkisi daðýlýmýn farklý noktalarý için önemli bir farklýlýk göstermezken, babanýn eðitim seviyesinin gelir üzerindeki etkisi daðýlýmýn orta noktasý (q50) için en yüksek seviyesine ulaþýrken bu noktadan sonra babanýn eðitim seviyesi arttýkça geliri daha az artmaktadýr.
