Yoneticilerin Kulturel Degerleri ve Izleyici Davranisi Tercihleri

Abstract

Bu arastirmanin amaci yoneticilerin kulturel degerleri ve tercih ettikleri izleyicilik tipi arasindaki iliski incelemektir. Arastirmada bireycilik, guc mesafesi, belirsizlikten kacinma, eril degerler ve babacan davranis beklentisi (paternalizm) kulturel deger cercevesi olarak ele alinmistir. Izleyici davranislarinda ise Kelley’nin ortaya koydugu iki boyutlu izleyicilik modeli kullanilmistir. Boyutlar bagimsiz ve elestirel dusunme ve aktif katilimdir. Arastirmada eril ve bireyci degerler acisindan yuksek olan yoneticilerin astlarinin daha fazla bagimsiz ve elestirel dusunmesini isteyecekleri, fakat bellisizlikten kacinma, guc mesafesi ve babacan davranis beklentisi yuksek yoneticiler acisindan ise tam tersi olacagi tartisilmistir. Yine, yoneticilerin eril ve bireyci degerleri arttikca astlarindan aktif ve kendi kendine hareket edebilir olmasi beklentisinin artacagi fakat belirsizlikten kacinma, guc mesafesi ve babacan davranis beklentisi degerleri arttikca yoneticiler astlarinin aktif ve kendi kendine hareket edebilir olmasini istememeyecekleri tartisilmistir. Arastirmada 316 yoneticiden veri toplanmistir. Arastirmada bireycilik acisindan yuksek olan yoneticilerin astlarinin daha fazla bagimsiz ve elestirel dusunmesini istemekte oldugu, guc mesafesi ve babacan davranis beklentisi yuksek yoneticilerin ise astlarindan bagimsiz ve elestirel olarak dusunmesini istememekte olduklari, yine, yoneticilerin bireyci degerleri arttikca astlarindan aktif ve kendi kendine hareket edebilir olmasini istedikleri fakat belirsizlikten kacinma ve babacan davranis beklentisi degerleri arttikca yoneticiler astlarinin aktif ve kendi kendine hareket edebilir olmasini istememekte olduklari ortaya cikmistir.
