Türkiye’de Cinsiyete Dayali Mesleki Ayrimciligin Analizi

Abstract

Kadinlar tarih boyunca üretimin her asamasinda calismislardir. Hem ailelerine hem de ülke ekonomisine olumlu yönde katkilari olan kadinlar, isgücü piyasasindaki bugünkü konumlarini cetin mücadeleler sonucu elde etmislerdir. Ancak yapilan calismalar dereceleri farkli da olsa kadinlarin isgücü piyasasinda cesitli sorunlarla karsilastiklarini göstermektedir. Bu sorunlarin nedenlerinin basinda cinsiyete dayali mesleki ayrimcilik gelmektedir. Cinsiyete dayali mesleki ayrimcilik kadinin isgücü piyasasindaki konumuna odaklanan bir konudur. Kadinin isgücü piyasasindaki konumunun iyilestirilmesi ise kadina yönelik istihdam politikalari ve gelisimi ile iliskilidir. Kadinin isgücü piyasasindaki konumunun iyilesmesi ülkelerin kalkinma sürecine olumlu olarak yansidigindan kadina yönelik istihdam politikalari önemini daha da artmistir. Calismada, Türkiye’de calisan kadinlarin cinsiyete dayali mesleki ayrimcilik ile ilgili karsilastiklari sorunlar belirlenmekte ve nedenleri arastirilmaktadir. Calismanin amaci, Türkiye’de calisan kadinlarin isgücü piyasasindaki konumlarini iyilestirecek ve gelistirecek istihdam politikalarina yön vermektir.
