Some properties of Tsallis and Tsallis–Lin quantum relative entropies

Abstract

In 1991, a new class of information-theoretic divergence measures based on the Shannon entropy was introduced by Lin (1991). In this paper, we discuss the quantum extensions of the Tsallis–Lin relative entropy for two density matrices. Then some properties of Tsallis and Tsallis–Lin quantum relative entropies and their relationship to quantum Tsallis–Jensen–Shannon divergence are studied.
