A study of the large coupling expansion in the Falicov-Kimball model

Author

  • Miracle-Solé, S.

Abstract

Some rigorous results on the Falicov-Kimball model are reported which concern the low temperature states of the system for large values of the coupling constant. For this study a cluster expansion is introduced which can be used to investigate the effective interaction between the static particles.
