Abstract

Aggregation by particle-cluster interaction of type r−α leads to tenuous growth products with continuously tunable fractal dimension. By using α = 2.7, aggregation clusters are generated with scaling behavior (mass scaling, capacity dimension and fjord structure) similar to the one observed in DLA aggregates. It is shown that a simple backward-iteration scheme provides an accurate estimation of the interaction-induced off-lattice growth probabilities. A phase transition in the multifractal measure is found.
