Molecular dynamics studies of metastability and nucleation in a non-equilibrium chemical system with multiple steady states

Abstract

It is shown in a molecular dynamics numerical experiment that transitions in a chemical system with two stable steady states follows metastability and nucleation processes, in good accordance with the stochastic theory predictions.
