Abstract

In this work, we present the Galerkin and a modified Galerkin methods based on Fourier projection for solving Volterra integral equation with a weakly singular kernel. These methods provide a robust framework for solving such equations in weighted spaces and are particularly advantageous, as they enhance the accuracy of the numerical solution.
