Abstract

In this paper, we show that the traveling wave equation of the Whitham–Broer–Kaup (WBK) equations given by the reference (Pradhan et al., 2026) is a cubic nonlinear oscillator with damping. Using the method of dynamical system, under a given parameter condition, we prove the existence of exact explicit kink and anti-kink wave solutions.
