Abstract

In this study, an analysis of the condensation process of new environmentally friendly refrigerants was performed. For this purpose, an experimental study was carried out on a group of new refrigerants with correspondingly low parameters: ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential), related to Freon R11, for which ODP = 1 was assumed, and GWP (Global Warming Potential), related to Carbon Dioxide CO2, for which GWP = 1 was assumed. The study was carried out with R134a as a reference refrigerant to be eliminated from use and replaced by isomers R1234ze and R1234yf. The experiment was carried out in mini-channels of pipes with internal diameters: 1.6; 2.1 and 2.5 mm.
