Abstract

This research aims to evaluate, simulate, and model the CO2 capture process for removing CO2 from the flue gas outlet flow of boilers and gas turbines. To the best of the knowledge Aspen HYSYS was employed to simulate these processes, enabling the analysis of technical conditions and evaluation of the problems and advantages associated with various designs from a technical perspective. Additionally, Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ICARUS) was utilized for economic analysis.
