Abstract

This is an interview with one of Australia’s most prolific publishers in the economics discipline. Clem Tisdell can be regarded as a pioneer of ecological, natural resource and environmental economics. The conversation takes us through the variety of his interests over the years, which he usefully categorises into six interrelated strands of research. We chart his career from humble beginnings through appointments at the Australian National University, the University of Newcastle and finally the University of Queensland.
