Abstract

Child sexual abuse (CSA) remains a major but underreported public health and forensic challenge in low- and middle-income countries such as Pakistan, where weak forensic infrastructure, fragmented documentation, and socio-legal barriers limit effective analysis and prosecution. This study aimed to examine the magnitude, spatial–temporal trends, forensic evidence handling, victim–offender relationships, and offender behavior patterns in CSA cases across Punjab, Pakistan.
