Abstract

Adolescents in Indonesian coastal communities face complex social, economic, and emotional challenges that place them at heightened risk of psychosocial distress, yet the ways in which these challenges intersect in adolescents’ lived experiences to create cumulative psychosocial vulnerability remain insufficiently understood. This study aimed to explore how social environments, economic hardship, and emotional experiences collectively shape adolescent mental health and psychosocial outcomes in coastal settings.
