Stability and bifurcation in a simplified five-neuron BAM neural network with delays

Abstract

In this paper, a simplified bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural network with five neurons is investigated. By analysis, we obtain that Hopf bifurcation occurs when the delay passes through a certain critical value. Numerical simulations are given to support our theoretical results.
