Ethical tourism research involving children

Abstract

•We highlight the lack of tourism research focused on children.•We draw attention to the established interdisciplinary field of Childhood Studies.•The Ethical Research Involving Children (ERIC) initiative is introduced.•We discuss the opportunities to progress high quality and ethically sound tourism research involving children.
