Políticas de salud sexual y reproductiva dirigidas a adolescentes y jóvenes: un enfoque fundado en los derechos humanos

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la cuestión de las políticas de salud sexual y reproductiva dirigidas a adolescentes y jóvenes con un enfoque que tenga en cuenta sus derechos humanos y, en especial, reproductivos. Esta perspectiva se funda en compromisos contraídos por los países al ratificar la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos, la Convención sobre la Eliminación de Todas las Formas de Discriminación contra la Mujer, el Pacto Internacional de Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales y la Convención sobre los Derechos del Niño; entre otros tratados internacionales las conclusiones de las conferencias mundiales (en particular la Conferencia Internacional sobre la Población y el Desarrollo (CIPD) y la Cuarta Conferencia Mundial sobre la Mujer, con sus respectivos exámenes quinquenales), y en los principios fundamentales de no discriminación, igualdad, privacidad, integridad, autonomía, dignidad y bienestar del individuo.
