Lider Etkinliði ve Duygusal Zeka Arasýndaki Ýliþkiler: Kadýn Akademisyenler Üzerinde Bir Çalýþma

Abstract

Bu çalýþmanýn amacý, akademik hayatta duygusal zekanýn lider etkinliði üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Bu amaç doðrultusunda, farklý illerde görev yapan 118 kadýn akademisyen tarafýndan tamamlanan Duygusal Zeka ve Liderin Etkinliði anketinden türetilen veri kümesinin normal daðýlýma uygun olduðu tespit edildikten sonra; geçerlilik ve güvenirlik analizleri ile, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri uygulanmýþtýr. Çalýþmada elde edilen veriler SPSS istatistik programý ile analiz edilmiþ ve yorumlanmýþtýr. Hipotez testlerinden elde edilen sonuçlar, duygusal zekanýn akademisyenlerin liderlik etkinlikleri üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olduðunu göstermiþtir. Gerçekleþtirilen hipotez testlerinde, Duygusal Zekanýn “Baþkalarýnýn Duygularýnýn Farkýnda Olma”, “Motivasyon” ve “Baþkalarýnýn Duygularýný Yönetme” alt boyutlarý ile; “Lider Etkinliði” arasýnda istatistiki olarak anlamlý ve pozitif iliþkiler tespit edilmiþtir. Ancak; duygusal zekanýn “Kendi Duygularýnýn Farkýnda Olma” ve “Kendi Duygularýný Yönetme” boyutlarý ile “Lider Etkinliði” arasýnda istatistiki olarak anlamlý iliþkiler bulgulanamamýþtýr.
