Industrieproduktion geht leicht zurück

Abstract

Nach Jahren überaus kräftigen Wachstums, ist die Industrie in diesem Jahr in die konjunkturelle Abschwungphase eingetreten und wird deshalb im Jahresdurchschnitt 2008 nur noch ein Wachstum von 1,8 Prozent erreichen. Ursächlich hierfür sind vor allem die sich abschwächende Weltkonjunktur und das Ende des Investitionsbooms in Deutschland. Die Produktionseinschränkungen werden sich bis Mitte des kommenden Jahres hinziehen. Wird unterstellt, dass die weltweiten Maßnahmen zur Beherrschung der Finanzmarktkrise größere realwirtschaftliche Auswirkungen unterbinden und damit die momentan sehr negative Stimmung in der gesamten Wirtschaft in den kommenden Monaten wieder aufhellen können, wäre ab Mitte des kommenden Jahres eine leichte Aufwärtsbewegung der Industrieproduktion in Deutschland möglich. Allerdings steht mittlerweile zu befürchten, dass schon die aktuelle Unsicherheit über gedämpfte Erwartungen Kettenreaktionen in den stark miteinander verflochtenen Industriebranchen auslösen könnte.
