"Internationale Kontaktbüros Forschungskooperation": Wichtige Impulsgeber für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen in Deutschland

Abstract

Die internationale Kooperation bei Forschung und Entwicklung (FuE) sowie beim Technologietransfer spielt eine zunehmende Rolle für die technologische Leistungsfähigkeit Deutschlands. Auch kleinere und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) nutzen bereits die Vorteile der internationalen FuE-Kooperation, doch haben viele KMU Schwierigkeiten bei der Anbahnung und Durchführung einer solchen Kooperation. Zur Förderung eines verstärkten internationalen Engagements deutscher KMU in der FuE wurde 1995 vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) die Initiative "Internationale Kontaktbüros Forschungskooperation" gestartet, die vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BMWi) fortgeführt worden ist. Seit 1995 wurden zusammen mit drei Projektträgern 19 Kontaktbüros im Ausland etabliert. Das Deutsche Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (DIW) und die SÖSTRA-GmbH wurden vom BMWi beauftragt, die Arbeit dieser Einrichtungen zu analysieren und zu bewerten.
