Griechenland auf Eurokurs: Maastrichtkriterien erfüllt?

Abstract

Mit dem in diesen Tagen vorliegenden Antrag auf Teilnahme an der Europäischen Währungsunion ist jetzt auch Griechenland auf Eurokurs. Nur wenig beachtet von der europäischen Öffentlichkeit hat dieses Land in den letzten Jahren schwierige strukturelle und konjunkturelle Probleme in den Griff bekommen. Eine kurze Analyse der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung und des Standes der Realisierung der Maastrichtkriterien soll die Beurteilung der Chancen und Risiken Griechenlands im Hinblick auf die Einführung des Euro erleichtern.
