Auslastung des Produktionspotentials weiterhin auf niedrigem Niveau

Abstract

Im Unternehmenssektor Westdeutschlands wird die Produktion 1994 voraussichtlich um 2,5 vH zunehmen. Bei etwas niedrigerem Wachstum des Produktionspotentials wird sich der Auslastungsgrad leicht, auf 86 vH, erhöhen. Für das nächste Jahr ist ein Anstieg in der Auslastung des Produktionspotentials nur dann zu erwarten, wenn die Wachstumsrate der Bruttowertschöpfung deutlich über 2 vH liegt. ln Ostdeutschland wird sich 1994 die Lücke zwischen Produktionspotential und effektiver Produktion im Vergleich zu den Vorjahren weiter verringern. Mit 78 vH liegt die Auslastung des Produktionspotentials aber immer noch um 8 Prozentpunkte unter dem rezessionsbedingt geringen Wert Westdeutschlands. Bei weiterhin expandierenden Investitionen und abnehmender Bedeutung der Verschrottungen wird 1994 erstmals seit der Vereinigung das Produktionspotential in Ostdeutschland wieder ausgeweitet. Der sich beschleunigende~ Potentialanstieg ermöglicht eine weiterhin kräftige Expansion der Produktion in Ostdeutschland.
