Politikberatung hinter den Kulissen der Macht: Editorial

Abstract

Die Vierteljahrshefte zur Wirtschaftsforschung erscheinen seit 1926 als wirtschaftspolitische Zeitschrift des DIW Berlin. Sie sind damit das älteste Periodikum des Instituts. Seit 1938 trägt die Zeitschrift ihren heutigen Namen. Nicht alle Jahrgänge sind erschienen. Vier Bände fielen den Kriegsjahren zum Opfer. Seit 1999 behandeln die einzelnen Schwerpunkthefte aktuelle wirtschaftspolitische Themen und wenden sich damit an Entscheidungsträger aus Politik und Praxis sowie an die wirtschaftspolitisch interessierte Öffentlichkeit. Das Jubiläumsheft "Politikberatung hinter den Kulissen der Macht" durchbricht dieses Muster-Format einmalig. Es vereint Beiträge herausragender Persönlichkeiten des öffentlichen Lebens, die von ihren Erfahrungen rund um Geschichte machende Ereignisse berichten, aber auch Ratschläge zur Bewältigung drängender gesellschaftlicher Probleme geben. Sie reflektieren Einsichten aus der Praxis der Politikberatung. Resultat der gemeinsamen Anstrengung im Rahmen der Jubiläumsausgabe sind einmalige Einblicke in die "Politikberatung von innen" und in ihr Verhältnis zur "Politikberatung von außen".
