Abstract

This research is based on the joint analysis of the concomitant launch of two separate devices, a collaborative innovation space (innovation lab) and a collaborative innovation event (innovation challenge). A single innovation entity of a large established company was involved in the joint launch. We describe the complementarity in space and time of these two approaches – to which the innovation entity is not reduced to, which we articulate around a triple dialectic: physical-virtual, local-global and permanent-special.
