Abstract

(VA) This research focuses on managerial interactions developed by companies and their stakeholders in coopetitive networks. After having studied for three years two cases of consortium - including small and medium-sized producers and exporters in the sector of essential oils in Madagascar - we found that coopetition can lead to a coevolution of committed organizations. With this in mind, we propose in this paper two new concepts - integrated coopetition and intentional coevolution - and a multi-levels model for understanding the inter-organizational dynamics which determines the partial convergence of coopetitors’ internationalization courses.
