Abstract

(VF)La recherche en management connait des avancées substantielles quand celle-ci est initiée, motivée et guidée par des « grandes questions ». C’est également le cas dans le champ plus spécifique du management international. Ce constat a été fait par Peter Buckley dans un article (« is the international business research agenda running out of steam? ») publié dans Journal of International Business Studies en 2002. Dans cet article, il est revenu sur un demi-siècle de recherches en management international en soulignant les apports (théoriques, méthodologiques et managériaux) majeurs réalisés en matière de compréhension de trois phénomènes : les flux d’investissement direct étranger, les multinationales et la globalisation des marchés.
