Objective: The objective of this research is to identify the foundations that support the financial economic management process in Health Technology. Methods: a qualitative descriptive study was carried out, methods included the theoretical level where various authors on the topic were systematized. Results: The main results were based on identifying the main theoretical nuclei considered in the support of the economic-financial management process in Health Technology. Conclusions: The economic-financial management process in Health Technology is based on the systems and subsystems of the MES Economic-Financial Management Model, which, located in the context of Medical Education, considers its principles: education at work, permanent and continuing education, formation of values and internationalization.
