Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force with profound implications for society, promising significant benefits for individuals with disabilities. While its potential is undeniable, AI also poses inherent risks, including ethical concerns that may exacerbate discrimination against marginalized groups. This paper provides a comprehensive examination of the advantages and drawbacks of AI for people with disabilities, with a particular emphasis on algorithmic biases.These biases, capable of shaping societal structures and influencing decision-making processes, have the potential to perpetuate unfair treatment and discrimination.
