Agentic AI in Banking Operations

Author

Abstract

This paper looks at how agentic AI is changing the way banks operate by using systems that can act on their own. It's different from usual methods like machine learning or robotic process automation because agentic AI can make decisions ahead of time, work with different systems together, and respond to changes in the financial world. The paper looks at how this AI is used in areas like giving loans, following rules, spotting fraud, and helping customers. It also talks about the challenges related to control, responsibility, and ethics. The paper gives suggestions for a framework that works with rules and regulations.
